We made it back to the causeway this morning to walk.
After lunch, we took Toby in the golf cart downtown. We stopped in the Chamber of Commerce because Toby usually gets a treat from one of workers. We surveyed their paraphernalia at the gay pride table.
John found some funny orange sunglasses.
The worker was one of our causeway walking buddies. She signs her contract tomorrow to move into Mease Life from her downtown condominium. She’s excited and nervous. She is having two small units combined and fully renovated. She has no family and wants to be prepared for when she might need more assistance.

Workers are adding wiring for the new city hall sign.
The city was able to get a guaranteed price for the new building. Then the pandemic hit, supply issues happened, and building materials and labor prices skyrocketed. Interesting blog tonight. Thanks for the photographs. Keep me posted on the lady moving into Meese. Love to all.
