We had an overcast day today. It finally rained for the first time in two months, but not much. The streets barely got wet.
I started my day at Quest, getting my blood drawn on orders from my annual check up recently. It was a fasting sample, so I chose a 7:00 am appointment.
The rest of the day I spent reading and finished The Weight of Ink. What a great book! Lots to think about.
I’m happy I was able to finish the 1017 pages in 5 days, before it was due.

Congratulation on the completion of reading your recent book.
ReplyDeleteCorrection: Jan’s house sold for $600. I visited her today. She mentioned your name numerous times. She appreciated your comments on her house for sale. She hasn’t found a place to move too yet. Someone from Durham is the buyer. “Moving from a larger house”. They are friends of Al and Diana.
I am so glad you liked the weight of ink.
ReplyDeleteI drove to WS for tennis and spent the rest of the day in my yard. Went to the gym, then to Wed night kids and got back to High Rock around 8:30. A busy day for me but loved working in the yard.
Also had my front porch, ceiling, storm door, front door and wood trim in the kitchen and hall and back door painted. It is so fresh and clean and happy that I had it done.
