After lunch, we took Toby in the golf cart to Ace Hardware to get a pot for our growing fig tree that we bought online.
While we were there, John got another plant for the living room to hide our cords. We had a handful to hold onto on the way home.
Toby got a treat from the Ace checkout and from the crossing guard on the way home. We pulled in to Highlander Park for a walk.
We’re going to get a pot for this new plant. (We ran out of room on our golf cart.)
We moved the fig tree to the floor.
Here’s a picture of both plants.
Finally, we moved the plant from the dining table to this side table.
We got takeout spinach Strombolies from Bambino’s via the golf cart, but first we stopped at Stirling Park for a walk. In the picture above, Toby is doing automatic sits whenever John stops.
We had another day of low humidity and 84 degree weather.
Toby and I waited in the golf cart for John to get our food.
This morning it was a cool 66 degrees on our early morning walk.
After our morning Toby walk, I headed to Weaver Park on my bike with my yoga mat. There was a crowd of bikes waiting to cross Michigan Avenue.
I did my core exercises and then I did pull-ups and chin-ups and dips.
It was about 70-73 degrees this morning for my morning exercise. It warmed up to 84 degrees later on. The humidity remains very low.

I love your new plant. What kind is it? I love all 3 of your plants. Your fig has really grown.
ReplyDeleteI had a great day. Garden Club this morning, filing and paperwork, fertilized plants, took Courtney to a Dr’s appointment. Got a night off from church kids. Sitting on my back porch with my fountain on enjoying my yard.
I had a nice gym day.
ReplyDeleteRushed to meet Dad at his cardiology appointment. His findings were so so. “I wish I could make him perfect but I can’t”. (Per his cardiologists) “He is 89 years old……. “ He put Dad on a low dose of metoprolol. Hoping this will help with his breathing. All his numbers of the 3 tests were ok.
Dad and I went to new members class at GS church tonight.
Love your new plants. Can’t wait to see your new pot.
Love to all.
