The breeze was slight when we walked the causeway this morning. The temperature was 75 degrees. The water was like a lake.

Brushed aluminum cover plate arrived this afternoon. One screw worked, one didn’t. Go figure. Luckily, I have a million screws and found one that fit.
I attached the doorbell button, set the chime on the indoor unit, and plugged it in. Works like a chime! Ha ha.
I think the new doorbell will inspire more confidence than the old one.
