Toby hanging out with his Pride Bear after his shower last night.
We helped a neighbor move a heavy table from her garage back into her house this morning. They had their faux wood floors ripped up and their terrazzo floors underneath restored. After that, we rode our bikes to Honeymoon Island to walk on the beach.
It was high tide, and there wasn't much beach left.
John got to wear his new Micky Mouse t-shirt. He said he felt a little anxious.
It was 78 degrees as we headed back to the mainland for lunch.

Toby has had several good days in a row. We are being super vigilant throwing everything we have at the problem: allergy suit for outdoors, allergy medicine twice a day, rinse off in the shower twice a day (medicated shower 2-3 times a week), fish oil, probiotic yogurt, and limited outdoor exposure. The afternoon thunderstorms has also helped to clear the air.
We are making sure we play games and practice his training and tricks to keep him mentally engaged. He’s getting much better at reading.
“Much better with reading”. Cracks me up. Tell me more. I entertain my zoom class with Toby stories. Most of them have gardens and they talk about their yields. So I talk about Toby.

I paid a much needed visit this afternoon with Cathy Seagroves. Her brother in law recently died (he was a member of Yates). Then she went to the hospital for 2 days and nights. Still trying to figure out her pain.
I made potato salad and deviled eggs for dinner and Dad grilled a burger.
I wanted to go plant shopping but try not to leave the hood on Saturday. Toooooo much congestion with the cable diggings and the new bridge construction over 85.
I enjoyed all of the beach scenes. Especially the one with John.

ReplyDeletecelebrated our 45th all day. took my orig oak wedding setting to a jeweler who suggested we mount it on a gold disk. i have a gold necklace of Mikes that I plan to wear with my new piece of jewelry. i always regretted getting another setting for my 25th so now I will have the original setting that I can wear daily. we had lunch out, and just finished the night with Bud and Rosanne who we met for dinner. a perfect day.
