We got an early start today to beat the heat. Up at 5:30. Out the door with Toby at 6:45. On our bikes heading to the causeway before 8:00. We finished our walk a little after 9:00. It was already 81 degrees.
We ran into our kitchen designer on the causeway drawbridge. She says they have final numbers and will call next week to meet for us to meet with the owner and talk about construction. We’re so glad that we ran into her so we don’t have to call. We didn’t want to bug her.
We stayed inside and read the rest of the day.

Sounds good about meeting kitchen person. Yea. I can’t wait to hear her suggestions merged with your research.
ReplyDeleteThe day started out nice. We even had a blue sky briefly. I had my second cup of coffee on the patio with Dad. However we had some more rain off and on. But enough in between showers to get out. We exchanged hose and I bought a couple of zennias. Can’t believe almost July and I still haven’t finished planting.
Joanna stopped by when I was planting and unloaded. I did not know her Mother died in December
and her Dad in February. Her Dad had remarried and that wife died this winter also. So sad.
Caroline and Burnice moved into George’s house last Saturday. (End of our ally). So glad to have them in the hood. She is expecting a little boy this summer. 🍼🤰
The Decker’s house will soon go on the market. The couple who purchased from the Deckers are moving.
we have entertained Er the last few nights. Cathy is playing tennis in the State finals in Chalrotte. I mowed and weeded today after a full week of rain. i haven’t been able to mow due to my stitches and it felt good to exercise. I have a compression sock for the next week.
ReplyDeleteStill so very sad about the loss of my dear friend Chrissy. Grief comes in waves when you least expect it.
Jeff and I had a date night. Went to a winery tonight with music. Enjoyed the Pride parade this morning. proud of our town for showing up in a big way.
