We made it to the causeway to walk this morning about 8:30. It was a nice walk until 9:00 when it suddenly got really hot.
As you can tell from the pictures, there wasn't much of a breeze. A good morning to go kayaking.
Toby continues to do well. The pollen count is holding steady at "moderate," a level that he can tolerate. That cuts down on our care routine. We are still limiting his outdoor exposure and wiping him down and cleaning his feet, which are a lot quicker and easier than a shower. Everything else we have discontinued for now.

I need your treatment on Toby on my rash. Urgent Care prescribed a cream and it got worse. It spread across my abdomen. It’s very red and itches. Went to dermatology and she put me on another cream to use for two weeks and then stop for a week and then rescheduled. I’m in my first week and it’s spreading. Looks like shingles but it isn’t painful like shingles. Will check back with the doctor next week.
ReplyDeleteRest well, Dad
i am remembering my skin issues of a few years ago. I changed dermatologists because mine was prescribing steroid creams that didn’t work and were not good for me. my new dermatologist diagnosed my issue as an infection in my skin and I took an antibiotic which I will try to find and send to you. it did the trick and I only had to use a a couple of times over several years and have not had issues since.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Toby is better. Our skin irritation continues to be a problem. Dermatologist visit prescribed another topical. Didn’t work. Dad plans to ask pharmacist tomorrow. I was with my zoom instructor Saturday at that birthday party. Plan to buy an oil tomorrow she recommended and order a lotion she also suggested. Awwwww
ReplyDeleteA pretty day today. We sat outside for lunch after church. Very nice.
Jan will spend Wednesday and Thursday nights with us. Her closing is Friday morning and then she will be off to Huntersville. I’ve learned a lot with her transition. Quite a saga with lots of twists and turns.
Need to follow some leads tomorrow for food options for our Fall Fling for the Highland section.
Love to all. Mom
