There were thunderstorms all night last night. We woke up several times to lightning and thunder and heavy rain. This morning, it was much cooler. The skies remained mostly cloudy all day. We walked Toby on his long route just after sunrise.
We drove out to the causeway to walk about 8:00. The forecast was a bit iffy, so we didn't take our bikes.
We kept close to the house for the rest of the day. A neighbor came by to check out John’s new PS5 gaming console. Toby was as excited to see him as the neighbor was to play the game.

Pam and Jeff came with a full blown delicious meal with a best ever apple pie. We enjoyed a baseball game after lunch. Then Cameron/family came on the way from a beach vacation. There was plenty of Pam/Jeff’s meal to feed them. It was a fabulous gathering. The grands are growing up. They are very polite, well mannered and a pleasure. Cameron is teaching in a summer school in Roanoke but a different school, 4 days a week and more money. Yea Cameron!
