We walked Toby at sunrise at 6:30 in the neighborhood. He's doing so well that we took the long route in the neighborhood for the first time in two months. He hasn't had any bumps in over a week. We are no longer taking any precautions with him. His skin looks great.
We drove to the causeway to walk. We got there at 8:00. There was a good 11 mph breeze and lots of cloud cover, which made for a very pleasant walk, even though it was 81 degrees already.
We made it back to the car around 9:15, our usual starting time.
We headed to the grocery store to round up heavy items for the car trip as opposed to our usual bike trip.
Our neighbors had us over for dinner to thank us for helping them move furniture while they had their terrazzo floors restored.
We had shrimp tacos and smoked chicken tacos, several different kinds of salsa and dips.
This couple just found out they're having a baby, so our neighbor bought a cake to celebrate.
Last walk of the night.
Toby had one bump, so we gave him a medicated shampoo before bedtime. We've found that if we begin treatments at the first sign of a bump, we can prevent a major outbreak.

Sounds like a good day. I get my compression wrap taken off tomorrow and will be so happy. No tennis, no gym this week so I have read, worked a puzzle, weeded, watered and watched Netflix.
ReplyDeleteLoved your dinner update. Great cake decorated icing. Will try white icing next with reverse chocolate trim. Great idea. Neat decor on neighbor’s table.
ReplyDeleteI had 8 neighbors to drop by to say farewell to Jan.(our invitation). I served my chocolate pie. A very fun gathering. Jan leaves tomorrow and I can get back to normal. We had her for dinner again tonight and overnight.
