It was too hot to walk this morning by the time we finished walking Toby. And John had a dental appointment at 11:00. So we took the car to Publix and did some grocery shopping. The flowers in front of Publix were very pretty.
We had a brief shower around noon, a nice surprise.
After lunch, we took Toby in the golf cart to the Dunedin Public Library and donated our collection of CDs. That's John in the background. What a relief to be done with them. We have them copied to our phones and computer hard drive. Big project completed!
Later in the afternoon, we rode our bikes down to the marina.
We found a shaded spot on the waterfront.
We watched the boats come and go and enjoyed the strong breeze.
We had a super salad for dinner along with a bowl of black bean soup. The peaches that are at Publix this week and last are perfect! Last year, we enjoyed them for at least an entire month. They are locally grown.
Our kitchen designer called this afternoon. We have an appointment to sign a contract next Tuesday morning. I told her we are bringing our collection of backsplash tiles for her to see.
i have started walking again in addition to my gym and tennis. watered my yard tonight. watched more of Wimbledon. my productivity has been lacking since the French Open, and the Australian Open and now Wimbledon.
ReplyDeleteI too am having difficulty getting back to the gym. We just chilled out after morning appointment. I heard from Kim today. She has been very thought lately. All about Dad. She loved being with both of you.
