Toby hanging out

This morning we got a late start, so we rode our bikes down to Stevenson Creek. It was already 84 at 9:00 and very humid.

Toby and John tried to nap while I attempted to do yoga in the living room. It was too hot to be on the concrete pad at Weaver Park. Toby got down beside me and did some stretching. When I was up on my knees, he kept trying to help by getting under me. I think he assumed I had fallen and needed a boost. After a while, he just started barking at me. My poses looked like a dog begging another dog to play, so he was saying, "Let's go!" Needless to say, yoga at home is an imperfect workout. I did manage a good 20 minutes before I gave up and had lunch.

I headed to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park to finish up. I did some standing up stretching and weights. It took almost the entire day to do exercise. But that's probably a good thing because of the heat.

Our latest tile sample came today. These are two by two glass tiles, half are smooth and half have texture.

We're waiting on the renovators to contact us to sign a contract. I think we'll hear from them before the week is out. Now that we have all our tiles, we can show them to the designer and get her input. I think her input is going to carry a lot of weight. She has more experience seeing how things come together and how things look with grout, and what style theme makes the most sense.

We fixed a salad and ate it and then took the golf cart to Bambino's for a pesto pizza for dinner.

We took Toby back to Stirling Park on the golf cart for an evening walk. It was still hot outside.
