Sunday

We took Toby to Stirling Park Sunday evening for a walk. The temperatures have been lower, making for easier walks.

Toby got a shower after this walk. He's been scratching a lot here lately. We're hoping the Dermabens will tame whatever is irritating him.

There were still some signs up after the hurricane. The streets on the west side of Alt. 19 always flood. The water comes up through the sewer drains.

John found the 5A channel marker about a half mile from where it's supposed to be. It was near the tidal bridge instead of out in the water off the southern end of Honeymoon Island.

Sunday morning, I cleaned up the beds in the front yard.

I bagged four bags of ferns and one can of leaves. I pruned the two palms, too.

The bird of paradise needs pruning several times a year. I power washed the front of the house on Saturday.

Sunday afternoon, we took Toby to the marina to people watch.

I got this great shot of seaweed and sludge. It looks like an animal print.

The new marina headquarters is taking shape. There are now walls and a roof. We're not sure if the old building will be raised or not. It's been there since the early 20th century.

This large boat went back and forth waiting for a slip to dock at Bon Appetite.

Toby is beginning to sit up more on his golf cart rides, as long as the speed is slow. Otherwise, he drapes himself across the passenger.

Our day started early

Friday, we parked at Stirling in the golf cart and walked to the tidal bridge, above.
