For the first time in weeks, it was warm and partly sunny and not raining. We drove to the causeway for a much needed long walk.
It was calm and 72 degrees, cool by our standards but nevertheless appreciated.
It was good for our mental health to get away from the house and forget about our kitchen for a while.
I washed the outside of the house this afternoon.
I used some cleaner with bleach this time.
It made for quick work.
These chairs were looking a bit shabby, but they look much better now.
Bugs like to accumulate in the upper reaches of our entryway and then die.
I hose them down every few months.
All clean as a cold front approaches.
The low will be 44 degrees, only 57 degrees during the day tomorrow.
Our new toilet handle arrived tonight. The one above is the pitted one with paint missing.
This is the new one. Easy peasy.
I took this close up to prove that it was really disgusting. John said I could have sanded it and spray painted it. I love it when he makes these suggestions.
On Netflix, we watched “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society”: In 1946, a London-based writer begins exchanging letters with residents on the island of Guernsey, which was German-occupied during WWII. Feeling compelled to visit the island, she starts to get a picture of what it was like during the occupation.”

I love it when my house is cleaned in the spring. Yours looks awesome. Put the movie on my watch list. We are watching Fool Me Once a murder mystery.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you use to clean outside? Your outside cleaning looks great. It is too cold to go to the mailbox much less clean outside. However spring is coming.
