We rode our bike to the causeway to walk and jog this morning, and on the way back home we stopped at Frenchy's Market to pick up some fresh fish for dinner. We got a pound of cod that was on sale. We'll make some roasted potatoes and have our own version of fish and chips, but a lot healthier.
The player development housing next door for the Toronto Blue Jays is coming along. This development plus the new condominiums and wine bar in the next block are going to add a lot of activity on Causeway Boulevard.
The fish market man told us to bake the cod at 350 degrees for 20 minutes with lemon slices and garlic.
We jogged and walked. It was a beautiful morning on the causeway, a bit breezy on the way back to the mainland. There were white caps in the sound from the easterly breeze.
We heard back from TileBar about our damaged tile. They've put together a replacement order for all the broken, chipped, and smudged tiles. We're not in a hurry, but they acted like the damaged tiles were holding up our project, so they were taking the problem very seriously. In the meantime, I sorted out the tiles: undamaged, broken, and minor chipped. I figured this may help the tile installer choose tiles for cutting and placement. The sunroom will be our storage room when floor tile demolition begins in August.
After lunch, I rode to Weaver Park to do yoga and some weight lifting. I took it easy and finished up in less than an hour. I made it home in time for a fruit smoothie.
Dinner prep
Delicious!
Healthy!
Easy clean up!
We're going to try and stop by Frenchy's Market after our walks more often so that we can eat more fresh fish.
