Labor Day morning jog and ride on the Pinellas Trail
I'm on the three wheeler. John's . . . on his feet.
Crossing Curlew Creek
After riding along with John, I rode my two-wheeler bike to Clearwater and stopped at Weaver Park to exercise with all the other old men.
Our summer weather pattern: sun in the morning and rain in the afternoon.
Our car will be spending some time outside until the flooring gets installed since our garage is filled with pallets of tile.
A house in our neighborhood sold the first weekend it was on the market. The buyers paid full price. Then they proceeded to gut it: flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, closets, everything. And it was a house that had been updated and well maintained. Everyone is a bit shocked.
The pond at the community center is overflowing its bank.
So much rain, but always in the late afternoon, just in time to cool things down. We haven't had but a handful of days in the 90s.
Toby got his evening meal in his hardest puzzle game.
It's been a while since he's played it, but he remembered how it worked.
He has to slide the squares to open up a hidden supply of kibble.
There's only one square open at a time.
He has to slide the squares around using his nose and/or paw.
He can smell when there's food under a square.
He has to figure out how to move the squares one at a time to get to the square he wants uncovered.
At the beginning of the game, every square has food under it.
At the end of the game, he's uncovered them all and there's no food left. This game exhausts him, but it's worth it to get his dinner.
We have a neighbor that has a lab puppy that is so full of energy. The couple just had a baby, so they are exhausted all the time. We took them Toby's first puzzle game for beginners to see if that could help.
