Thursday

After the plumbers and electricians left for the day, the three of us rode downtown to Jensen's Seafood to pick up some fresh cod for dinner tonight.

The plumber installed strike plates to protect the pipes from nails when the drywall and cement boards for the shower walls are nailed in place.

He did the same thing for the shower pipes.

The electricians started the LED light replacement. The new one is on the left, the old one is on the right. The one in the middle is in transition.

The plumber covered all the pipes in insulation, and put back in some of the dirt.

He tied the main water supply into his new pipes.

The electricians installed the new electrical line for the bidet toilet seat.

The outlet is in place. The plumber stemmed the water supply for the new toilet. The construction workers started to remove the rest of the tile, but stopped for some reason. There was a lot of activity. The progress is the kind that's hard to see.

I think the pest control person is spraying tomorrow. Anytime, the foundation is opened to the earth, you have to apply pesticides to protect the house from infestation.

I think that the plumber is through until the tile work is done and he can put the finishing touches on.

There may be a city code inspection on Monday.
