I vacuumed around the perimeter in the two back bedrooms, as we contemplated our next move.

Lots of debris in the crevices

I was able to see that it's a floating floor and has not been glued down. There is a vapor barrier/foam sheet under the laminate planks. It should be easy to pull up.

We talked to our designer today and confirmed our list of problems/concerns for them to address. She had already heard of most of them. She understood and will work to make them right. They are waiting for the boss to return from a holiday trip. 

We discussed the possibility of tiling the two back bedrooms. She will have the flooring boss contact us for an appointment to measure, discuss logistics, and figure out how much tile to order. He may want to go ahead and tile soon or wait and do it all when he does the bathroom. 

We confirmed that we will meet with the designer soon, either after Christmas or after the first of the year to go over the second bathroom plan and budget. It should be fairly simple since we aren't changing the floor plan. 

In the meantime, we spent the day doing house maintenance. Typically, we do this work the first day of the month, but this month has been unusual, camping out in our house. 

Today, we celebrated our third month of the renovation project.
