We ordered a new wall-mounted door stop for the front door. A door stop near the floor is a tripping hazard for a front door where people congregate and where the door is normally closed. 

The old wall-mounted door stop, shown above, was large, antique brass, and ugly.

The new one is polished chrome with a black rubber tip, similar to the new door stops we ordered for the bedrooms. In fact, they're made by the same company.

When we get the new switches and entryway door handles, I think it will look great. 

Toby found a small space to take a nap while we were eating lunch yesterday.

And an even smaller space in my lap while he waited for the sun to come up this morning.

The two of us, snuggled in one chair in the sunroom.
