Tuesday

I cleaned the windows in the front door this morning. This is peak pollen season in Florida, so the exterior doors were covered in pollen, dirt, and dust. The weird thing about allergy season here is that I don't experience any effects. In North Carolina, I suffered from the end of April to the middle of May every year--dripping nose, swollen and itchy eyes, sneezing, the whole works. In five years here, I have yet to experience even one day of seasonal allergies. Is that because I was born in Florida and became immune to its allergens?

Clean, inside and out

After lunch, we took a quick nap and then I took a bike ride south on the Pinellas Trail,

through Weaver park and down Victoria to the marina and then down Edgewater Drive.

It was 79 degrees and blue skies with wisps of white clouds.

This is where Stephenson Creek empties into the sound.

That's where I crossed the street and headed east a short ways and connected to the Pinellas Trail and headed home.

  1. Our pollen season began today. I had the car washed yesterday and today pollen christened it! We had a sunny day but wind was 11 miles. Windy! We need to have the house power washed this year but not until the end of pollen. So glad to hear you are not plagued with sinus issues.
