Wednesday

We have a ton of lilies getting ready to bloom.

Dunedin has a young artist program for kids to paint the storm drains and raise awareness of water run-off, reminding people that the drains lead to the sound.

Tuesday dinner: We've been enjoying fresh roasted vegetables. We cook two full trays at a time and save the extra for leftovers.

Wednesday morning yoga at Coachman park

Nearly under the Clearwater Causeway bridge

I spotted the window washer climbing over the ledge at the top of the building. It must take a lot of nerve to hop over.

He's at the top left in the picture above.

The grouter arrived after lunch. First, he had to do some clean up from the tile setters. He finished grouting the second bedroom and closet.

And the bathroom floor. He did the bathroom first in case the construction workers wanted to install the vanity, toilet, sink, drywall and duraroc behind the shower walls. The tile setters will come back later to do the tub surround.

The hallway runs into the bathroom without a break as does the hallway and the bedrooms. The baseboards have not yet been delivered, but they're working on it. Then I can paint them.

For dinner: Spinach salad, beets, bread and butter pickles and green goddess dressing.

Greek-style eggplant over rice with green beans, roasted squash and zucchini. The eggplant comes in a tin from TJ's, as did the Greek-style chickpeas that we had recently. Delicious and easy. Heat and serve.

The grouter returns tomorrow to finish the front bedroom.

  1. Tilers are doing great work. Ya'll floors look great . Looks like I am gonna have to go to Traders Joe's. Your plated food looks delicious. Like the combinations on your salad. We have recently switched to spinach for salads. Your Lillies are beautiful. Isn't this a beautiful season?

  2. Forgot to say.....Love the children's art work. What a neat idea. Window washers .... bless their career.
We are getting new gutters installed today. What a difference that makes. Mark is going to paint our front door when he returns from a hiking/water trip with his buddies. He came this morning and repaired/fixed several household item needing some help. We are so fortunate to have him in the neighborhood. Everyone uses him, you have to get on "his list" when you want something done. He is such a neat guy as well as Andrea in her own way--such neat people.
