After John got back from jogging and could sit with Toby, I rode my bike to Clearwater Beach, about an 18-mile round trip. 

It was 77 degrees with a moderate breeze of 10 mph from the south, which meant my ride out was tougher than coming back. The Clearwater beaches looked terrific, no sign of hurricane damage even though the entire island flooded.

There were lots of bicyclists on the waterfront trail.

This was the line of cars waiting to get to the beach. They are about a mile away in stopped traffic.  Going by bike is so much easier.

I paused on the causeway bridge to take some pictures of the Clearwater marina.

I took this picture from the corkscrew that takes bicyclists and pedestrians from Coachman Park to the causeway bridge.

I stopped at the park for a pitstop before biking home. 

Trader Joe's had a sale on fresh blueberries yesterday. I loaded up.

We took Toby for a golf cart ride to the community center after lunch.

It was 83 degrees and pleasant, especially in the shade.
