Today's blog is as exciting as watching paint dry.
We painted primer on all the repair spots and new drywall.
We used every drop of primer.
After lunch, we'll make a trip to Ace to buy more paint. We need both wall paint and trim.
It's surprising how much better the room looks without that pink tile going halfway up the walls.
After lunch, I made a trip to Ace for paint and started painting. This is the first coat.
I left the mirror and cabinet space unpainted.
I somehow overlooked this huge unpainted patch. I managed to paint all of the little ones in the back bedroom. Oh well, the bathroom is going to take two coats anyway, so I'll start here tomorrow. By the time I finish, this will be ready for its second coat.
All those cable outlets are gone and painted over. It looks so much better.
Front bedroom is done.
Here's a midway shot of the bathroom being painted. New paint on top, primer on the bottom.
When I was painting this afternoon, I noticed the workers forgot to put the last piece of shower board in. We laughed because that's how this project has gone from the beginning.
After painting a second coat tomorrow, I might start prepping the baseboards for touch up where the nail holes are. Also, several of the baseboards are in the wrong color, so the entire thing needs re-painting.

Painting always makes a great change and improvement. Looking good. Hope you get the last piece of shower board installed soon.
