Our workers arrived this morning to install the baseboards.
They were a little short on boards, but they installed all that they had.
The front bedroom was completed. We would like to be able to move some furniture back into this room, but the electricians will need to have access to replace the ceiling fan, remove cable and control switches for the old fan, and phone outlets. The construction crew will need to patch wall board, mud, and texture. So it's probably best that we leave everything as it is.
The back wall of the closet didn't get done.
Two walls in the back bedroom got done, but two walls remain undone. Wall patching will need to be done in this room, too.
Progress.
Two out of four of the back closet baseboards got done.
They also installed 2x4 supports for the shower wall so that they can anchor the duraroc to something. It took six hours for the work today. And because they were short of boards, they had to use the board I painted for the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. I'll need to repaint it, installed.
This is the bathroom outlet that needs to be moved up before the inspections can be done. The electrician is supposed to come tomorrow, but I believe he's only going to do this one thing. He really needs to do everything for things to progress smoothly, but for some reason, the electricians have been the hold up for this phase of the project. After the inspections, then they can install wall boards and mud in the bathroom. It would helpful for the ceiling fan hanging, wallboard repairs, mudding, and texturing to be done in all three rooms at the same time, but we'll take any kind of progress.

Exciting blog of progress made. I know you want these hanging details to move forward. Enjoyed these photos. Hope the electrician can complete his part SOON!
