We got started on painting the new baseboards this morning: light sanding, vacuuming, wiping, and finally painting. Then clean up and lunch.
During lunch, we had a surprise rain shower.
We scrambled to bring the boards in the garage and dry them off.
After lunch, we dragged the boards back out, let the sun bake them, sanded some of the rough spots, and then we put on the second coat.
Back into the garage for safe-keeping overnight. The workers are planning on coming tomorrow to install them in the bedrooms, closets, and hallway. The bathroom baseboard will have to wait for the door trim on the two doors.
Blueberry, walnut, spinach salad for dinner
With ravioli stuffed with spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheese. We had a side of roasted veggies.
