Saturday

Lots of rain has given us green grass

and pretty flowers

This is a fig tree we bought for the sunroom. It's been outside this winter and spring. I think it likes it better outside.

Today was for door handle installation. Here's the old one.

Here's the old brass door latch. Hardly tarnished at all, right?

Here's the new handle.

I re-keyed all of the locks so that they work on the same key.

We took the pictures above and . . .

. . .  moved them to the right, centered above the bed.

I hung John's artwork above the dresser.

I hung this student artwork inspired by Shakespeare's Sonnet 116.

I hung my copy of Pam's favorite dog painting in the bathroom.

While I was at it, I enlarged his eyes and mouth, giving him a bit more personality.

I think I'll get back to my window cleaning project tomorrow.

  1. Loved loved loved this blog. You are so smart to change the hardware yourself. A great deco job also with changes.
