We walked Toby at sunrise and took off on our bikes to Clearwater at 7:30 this morning.
Mostly sunny and the temperature was in the mid to upper 70s.
I found my stretching spot in the middle of this large open lawn between Pier 60 and the traffic circle, just me and a few ibises.
Even though it's just a stone's throw from the traffic circle, it's surprisingly quiet. John says the low wall blocks off the noise. We parked our bikes nearby and he jogged all the way back to the causeway bridge. The causeway trail that links the bridge to the island is smooth, wide, and popular for running, biking, skating, and walking. Unlike the Dunedin causeway trail, the trail in Clearwater is spaced well away from traffic, so it's quiet and serene. It's nicely landscaped too.
It's two miles from the mainland to the island, including the main bridge and the tidal bridge, marked in black on the map above. The Pinellas Trail is marked in red.
John dropped me off at Weaver Park so I could do strength training.
We finished tidying up the bookshelf after removing the router and modem that we no longer need now that we're using AT&T's Air Internet. It's on the top shelf. It gives us wireless Internet for our phones, TV, computer, gaming console, Nest, and refrigerator. Notice the absence of the old cable cord.

Bravo for cordless look. The back of our TV looks love spheghetti junction. Ya'll are so smart!!!!! Refrigerator???????
