John did some yard work while I did some house cleaning. Then we drove to Whole Foods to return an Amazon purchase and then went to the Dunedin Causeway to walk.
Temps were in the low to mid-70s, not bad at all.

John removed this black edging. It's everywhere and we'd like it gone.
We'll go with no edging and see how that works.
Enjoying your yard updates. I too am into updating the front under the dining room window. I want to replace the 3 large bushes under the dining room bump out. Alan reseeded a large area between us and the Tennysons 10 days ago and I already have grass coming up. This is the third time I've had this area reseeded and Alan's work has been the best and with no fee. We are blessed with great neighbors.
