Early morning walk with Toby

We met with our contractor this morning to get an estimate for removing this wall A/C unit from the sunroom, patching the hole in the wall, and re-routing the electrical for installing a mini split heat and A/C unit up above the window. The refrigeration company comes tomorrow morning to size the unit needed and give us a quote for installation and hooking it up.

We took Toby in the golf cart to Ace after lunch to fetch screen supplies for the garage door project. We removed the existing screen and used it as a pattern. Then we removed the windows.

John held up the new screen while I rolled the spline into the groove around the window.

Then I used a box cutter to trim the excess.

We cleaned the windows and tracks and put the windows back in.

Looks great! Easy $25 repair.
