I painted the wall patch in the sunroom before we left for TJs this morning.
And put everything back when we got home. All the cords are now hidden since the outlet is at table height.
Getting ready to pressure wash the tower using our new telescoping ladder.
Ready to go
It's going to be messy.
Our new ladder worked well.
John did the cleaning on the tower, inside and out. He has the longest reach.
I steadied the ladder.
And handed him things.
I cleaned the gutters for the tower that run above the lower roof. I have a lower center of gravity for squatting on the roof.
This horizontal gutter and sloping gutter run from the upper gutter to the lower gutter. They all needed cleaning.
And this one on this side which was blackish green.
We cut a few branches of the Frangi Pani tree in order to get the ladder up, but we got it all done.
The house is as clean as it's going to get.
The gutters look good. The roofers are going to remove them a few feet at a time, nail down flashing, and then nail them back up as they go. I might do a bit more spot priming on Saturday. Then start painting the trim with real paint on Monday.
We took a break after lunch and took Toby to the community center to walk and enjoy the 76 degree beautiful day. A crew from a dog rescue organization was getting ready for their annual Dogtoberfest where they push pet adoptions, spaying, neutering, agility competition, etc.
They invited Toby and us over to test out the temporary fencing for the agility event.
Toby had a good time running off leash and interacting with the rescue folks.
Watch Toby run
They clocked him running 18 mph with a radar gun. Then gave him a "Fast Runner" medal.
Our new neighbors got 11 pallets of sod yesterday. They're having it installed today along with new plants. I think it's going to look really good. It was busy in front of our house all day with the seven trucks and three trailers of the irrigation/sod company and contractors. Then our lawn service showed up with a truck and trailer. Then the UPS, FEDEX, Amazon, and mail truck came through a few times. Crazy.
New yard, paint, plants, mailbox, lighting, and a whole house inside renovation. Looking good across the street.
Last walk of the day at Stirling park. We passed this snake bird sunning himself on the Cedar knees.

Whew!!!!!!!!! What a day.. You know it is my responsibility to worry about you and John working up so high. I gotta say it........Be extra careful. I am AMAZED at your ability to KNOW and to DO what you are doing. Love your neighbors paint and trim job not to mention their lawn. You go son!
