Monday

One of our new Christmas trees in the corner

I picked up a few more paint supplies from Ace this morning and one more paint sample.

Third one from the top: Ocean Air.

In theory, it should be the one, but on our house it looks green and gray.

It would look good with our trim color.

And roof.

This combination is still the frontrunner, but the color does not look this good on our wall. Maybe we got the wrong base paint?

The contractor came today to fill in the hole on the inside of the sunroom and texture the wall. He also swapped out the A/C outlet for a regular outlet.

Once it dries, I'll prime and paint.

I scraped and pressure washed the front low wall again today.

Tuesday, I'll coat the exposed metal with some anti-corrosion fluid that will help inhibit rust and help the paint to adhere.

It will need to dry for 24 hours.

Wednesday, I'll caulk and possibly prime.

The high temperature is supposed to be 68 degrees, so it should be a good day to paint.

It's going to look so much better.

  1. What a great prep job prior to painting. Paint colors hard to determine via photo.
