Monday

Back to the drawing board on the front door. Primed and ready for more options.

Aegean Teal

We wanted a pop of color, something soothing, and something that went with Swiss Chalet.

The roof installers arrived early this morning and began sorting out the parts.

They began in the back, installing the trim pieces first. The worker above is installing the first run of metal.

First coat of Aegean Teal on the front door, now that it has dried.

We think it works.

Progress

Second coat of Aegean Teal

The door color is true, but the house color is more blue and less aqua than in this picture . . . at least on my monitor.

Orange stakes to protect our sprinklers from the roofers.

I think it will help.

It's easy to not see them.

This one is just begging to trip someone.

Late afternoon and the workers are still working.

I don't know how they stay planted.

They finally left during twilight.

It looks like they made it all the way across the back side, definitely easier than the front.

  1. Love the stakes. Good job. That was a pain to repair. You certainly have patience. Looking good.
