Beautiful day, 82 degrees, some blue skies. We walked over 15 miles today and took a bike ride on the Pinellas Trail. In between and after, I worked and answered emails.
We took a picnic to William E. Dunn Water Reclamation Facility, just beyond Wall Springs Park on the Pinellas Trail, about 14 miles round trip. The facility has lush grounds, a chilled and filtered water dispenser, restrooms, and picnic shelters. Work issues were bearing down on me, so the picnic lost some of its insouciance, and I wasn't such a great companion.
By the time the sun was setting, I had managed to bring a little order to the chaos in my corner of the world. We took an evening stroll, 72 degrees. A neighbor had made this contribution to the day:
