We biked out to Honeymoon Island this morning and began our walk from building #2. We left our bikes locked up and walked back to the drawbridge and then returned back to our bikes and rode home for lunch. It took us about 2 1/2 hours round trip. The view above was inspiring to begin and end our walk. It was 80 degrees with light winds.
After lunch, I installed the newly painted TV console. For once, I had all the right tools and hardware and didn't have to go to Home Depot.
I might end up painting it again with a paint brush because some of the old finish shows. I used 4 cans of spray paint. Still a bargain, since the unit was free. But for now, it's done.
It got up to 90 degrees today, partly sunny.
Before heading home, we rode south into Clearwater. We stopped at the Stephenson Creek bridge, took these pictures and headed home.
Luckily, we had left over stir fry, so dinner was easy.
I worked on getting my courses ready for next week. They were a mess.
We walked 17.1 miles and biked 22.85. We are both exhausted.
