Rainbows

It was another beautiful day on the causeway this morning. There was no breeze and it was hot, about 80 degrees. We decided to move up our causeway walk for Dee Dee so that it won't be so hot for her. She really struggled with the heat and humidity.

The bridge tender was doing some work beneath the walkway this morning. We were able to look into the bowels of the bridge. You can see all the way down to the water.

We walked all the way from our house today, 4 miles out and 4 miles back. On the way back, we noticed St. Mark Lutheran Church had put out gay pride flags to celebrate gay pride month.

This is a picture on the bridge that connects Ward Island to the causeway. In the upper right corner, you can see the dorsal fin of a dolphin. He was playing right below the bridge when I first noticed him. I've never seen one in this narrow waterway.

Dee Dee stayed with me today while I had office hours for my students. She slept most of the day.

13.02 bike miles
9.3 walking miles
