We saw this double rainbow on tonight's last Dee Dee walk. Since I have finished grading my last papers ever, I take it as a sign that I will never have to decipher poor writing ever again. May my neck get stronger and stronger.
Today was really nice, even though I spent 7 hours grading (hence the neck pain). The temperature got up to 90 degrees, but the humidity was only 55 percent and there was a good breeze. It did not feel like 90 degrees.
We had some occasional thunder, but never got any rain like we did the last couple of days.
This morning we walked on the causeway and spied these happy kayakers on their way to Caladesi. I hope someone told them that it was closed due to the virus. Apparently, staff resources are being strained and park rangers are having to be reassigned.
Really early this morning, we took Dee Dee on a car ride to Honeymoon Island. She has had another good day. She slept well, napped, and ate well. She also got an afternoon car ride to the Fine Arts Center.
Great fruit bowl and sandwich for lunch.
John fixed leftover beans and rice and a salad for dinner while I worked on my last papers.
Miles walked: 7.7
Miles biked: 0
