We got to go to the grocery store today, so we had a fruit salad with our lunch today.

Dee Dee had a pretty good day today. We're back to hand feeding her. She doesn't eat much, and she's very picky. It makes us so mad when we go for walks and all she wants to do is eat dirt! We try not to feel insulted that she doesn't like our home cooking. But she won't eat canned or dry dog food either. Her current go-to is Ceasar's, the tiny trays of food for tiny foo foo dogs. If she's feeling good, she will eat home-cooked hamburger and rice.

This morning's walk was really nice. It started out at 82 degrees and ended up at 86, with a 3-4 mph breeze.

We spotted a stingray in the water as we crossed the drawbridge.

There has been rain all around us for the last month, north, south, and east, but it stays rain-free here. We've seen lots of skies like the one above: perfectly blue to the west and cloudy and sometimes ominous to the east. We took a walk under sunny, blue skies while there was thunder and lightning just a few miles away.
