Last night, there were storms with lots of lightning and thunder. Dee Dee won't stay in the bed during storms. She paces and whines and is generally inconsolable. That went on for a good hour and a half. Add that to three middle of the night pee pee outings and you can see we didn't get too much sleep. We valiantly faced the day, but it didn't take long for me to realize I needed to go back to sleep. John pushed on and went for a walk and bike ride. We regrouped around noon and had lunch.
I spent the rest of the day working.
I also moved the office back into the main part of the house and out of the spare bedroom. This will be more convenient and less cloistered for both of us.
And Dee Dee can keep an eye on us from the sofa instead of the floor.
