Saturday

 

Since it was Saturday, we rode our bikes downtown instead of walking the causeway. We locked our bikes at Main Street and walked down to Edgewater Park along St. Joseph's Sound towards Clearwater. We passed the recently refurbished Fenway Hotel.

The skies were overcast, so the walk was pleasant. St. Joseph's Sound was calm.

 

 

Once we got to Sunset Point Road in Clearwater, we headed inland back to the Pinellas Trail and headed back to Dunedin.

 

We stopped on the trail as it crosses Stevenson Creek to look for manatees and dolphins. No such luck today.

 

We continued on the trail back to Dunedin and then home by bike.

 

Rain began around 2:00 and continued off and on the rest of the day. We ducked out in between showers for short neighborhood walks.
