Friday

I can never make a small salad, no matter how hard I try. But it was delicious. Blue cheese dressing and mangoes are amazing together.

Kale, chopped chicken, walnuts, balsamic vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika (key ingredient), topped with Parmesan cheese.

Served over pearl couscous.

After we walked the Dunedin Causeway this morning, we stopped by Publix for our weekly groceries.
They have removed the one-way stickers on the aisle floors, so navigating is easier--as long as it's not busy. After putting away the groceries, we made a picnic lunch and headed to the Dunedin Marina on our bikes.

That's Clearwater Beach in the distance.

That's the Dunedin Causeway in the distance.

While we were already downtown, we continued on the Pinellas Trail to Clearwater after lunch. This view above is from the Clearwater bridge looking southwest, towards the Sand Key bridge. The buildings to the right are part of Clearwater Beach.

That's Sand Key and Belleair Beach in the far distance.

The air was so clear today that you could see really far. The view above is from the bridge, looking south. The town of Belleair is on the mainland to the left in the distance.

This view is looking north towards Dunedin.

We knew that a thunderstorm was moving through at 2:30, so we timed our ride to be home by then. Right on cue, the bottom fell out. We lost power for a few minutes.

I took a sunrise walk this morning around Saundra Lake. It's about a mile, round trip.

When we got home from Publix, the lawn crew had already come and gone.
