Saturday

Avoiding the weekend causeway congestion, we left our house at 8:30 and walked downtown.

The trail was busy with walkers, joggers, and bicyclists.

We took a detour at Weaver Park and walked out to the end of the pier.

The water was very clear.

Interesting mushrooms growing on the side of this tree, located near the Hammock Park exit off of the Pinellas Trail.

All of the wet weather has led to an explosion of mushrooms.

Over two hours from the time we left on our morning walk, we finally made it back home. In this photo above, we were coming upon Lake Saundra a couple of blocks from home.

For dinner, I made the salad and John made the meatloaf.

Last night's sunset picture, looking west at the Curlew Creek bridge of the Pinellas Trail.

After lunch, we rode our bikes to Taylor Lake in Largo.

Miles walked: 10
Mikes biked: 22.55 (mechanical)

  1. We attached a movie about eating only plant based foods. It lowers cholesterol, blood pressure, increases strength and muscle mass. 😱. I have a while refrig full of thinks you make chili, spaghetti, etc! Jeff and I rode 8 miles this afternoon in the freezing cold.

  2. I can’t ride my bike comfortably below 63 degrees, and that’s with a windbreaker.

  3. It was 77 degrees this morning for our sunrise walk. Long sleeve weather.
