Wednesday

We rode our bikes to the draw bridge this morning about 8:45. It was 81 degrees with 81 percent humidity and a 5 mph breeze.

The water was clear, as were the skies.

The calm breezes made it a great day to paddle board.

After our walk, we got back on our bikes and rode out to Honeymoon Island.

We enjoyed a few minutes sitting in the bench swing looking at the gulf. I've been trying to incorporate more rest periods and spontaneous diversions in our bike rides.

After lunch, we rode our bikes through town and to Stevenson Creek in Clearwater. We didn't see any wildlife.

We stopped at the downtown gazebo to read and rest. Then we stopped again at Weaver Park to look at the sound and enjoy the breeze off the water.

After that, we headed to Publix to pick up a few items to get us through until Friday. It's tough to make fruit and lettuce last an entire week.

Then we got this surprise.

Toby made his arrival around 7:30 p.m. Lots of new things to get used to.

Today's Biking Routes

Miles biked: 23.43
Miles walked: 7.3

  3. His potty training is a work in progress, his foster said. She says he will pee when startled.
