Wednesday

Tropical Storm Eta has brought us off-and-on rain today. The temperature was in the low 70s with winds varying from 12 to 20 mph most of the day. Winds may increase to 53 mph in the wee hours of Thursday morning as the storm passes by off the coast towards Homosassa Springs. We have gotten .9 inches of rain so far and expect 4-6 from the storm.

Toby's heading for cover under the bed.

Not much to do but wait it out.

As the sun set, there was a brief break in the rain. The sky had a strange glow.

Speaking of "glow," John went next door to fetch a lighter just in case we lose power and need candlelight.
