A couple of goofy looking guys celebrating Christmas 2020.
We saw this cool looking egret on one of our walks and came home to do research. We learned that immature snowy white egrets have green legs. The legs will turn black with yellow feet when full grown.
Morning nap time for this puppy. His legs will stay white.
One of our neighbors gave us this tea towel for Christmas. So cute.
We took Toby out to the Island this morning for a walk. It was 48 degrees with 20 mph winds. The waves were the largest we've seen. Sadly, this swing got damaged from recent storms and high tides. We've had a couple of picnics here this summer. The view can't be beat.
It was beautiful but cold. Look at the size of those waves!
We ran out of treats, so we started using his old peanut butter treats, hoping that Toby's allergies were due to the harness and not the peanut butter. Turns out we guessed wrong. The hives are back. We got new treats and put him back on Benadryl. Good news: maybe we’ll get to use the nice harness once his bumps go away.
This is our fourth day of winter. The high today was 54 degrees and the low will be 37. For me, any day the temperature doesn’t make it to at least 60 degrees is a winter day. Tomorrow is predicted to be another one and then the temperature returns to the 60s and 70s.
I caught Toby standing up looking out the sunroom windows for rabbits. Good posture.
