So far, we haven't had more than two days in a row of winter (high temperature <60). Today, ends the recent two-day streak. The high today will be back in the 70s.
This raccoon squirrel is enjoying the warmth, perched on the fence at the edge of the golf course.
It was 66 degrees in this photograph; John is still bundled up.
We took an early morning walk with Toby down to the Pinellas Trail and back (2 miles round trip).
Winter scene in Stirling Park. The clouds on the horizon look like a mountain range.
After lunch walk around Lake Saundra. It was 73 degrees.
We kept Toby busy today. In this picture, he's in time-out for not calming down.
When he wants to play with us, he looks for things in the house that he knows he's not supposed to have (shorts, toilet paper roll, pens, bedroom slippers, glasses, hats, etc.). He then parades in with the object in his mouth to get us to chase him. It is SO deliberate because he usually leaves those things alone. The result is we now pick up our things better than ever and put them out of reach where they belong.
Miles walked: 8.6
Miles biked: 0
