We rode our bikes out to the causeway and locked them at the squid (midway along the causeway). Then we walked out to Honeymoon Island and all the way to the southern tip of the island where the dog beach is. Toby stayed at home in his crate.

A bike ride is the perfect way to begin a walk as it provides a good warm up; plus, it's fun!
It was a beautiful morning, temperature in the upper 60s when we started at 9:30 and a pleasant 72 degrees when we ended our morning walk before lunch.
We almost had the beach to ourselves.
The walk through the park along the bike path was a nice change from the causeway walk.
But the causeway had its attractions.
For our early morning walk with Toby, the temperature was in the lower 60s. The clouds dappled the sky.
Today's bike route out to the Dunedin Causeway
We had Julian's Little Italy take out. We both got Eggplant Parmesan.
Sunset walk
A blog is not complete without a Toby picture!
He was standing on the back of the chair in the office looking out the window and slipped. He fell behind the chair with a thud. He lacks Dexter's athleticism and Dee Dee's grace, but we love him.

I walked 4.6 miles at home today and the sun finally came out. I walked with a friend who I haven’t seen in ages. She knows a lot about Medicare and was helpful
ReplyDeleteI plan to play tennis Wednesday morning. It is suppose to be sunny. I have missed my life in WS.
I rode 4 miles on a different machine today. My practioner said to try 5 minutes and stop if it is too much. I did 20 minutes and then went to another machine.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your photos especially the ones I know exactly where you are when taking a photo. Keep them coming.
We had NO BLUE IN OUR SKIES TODAY!!!!!
