We came across a yard full of ibises on our last walk of the day. The temperature today ranged from 65 to 70 on our walks.

 

We enjoyed a cool morning walk on the causeway. We parked at Dollar General in the Causeway Plaza and walked all the way to the guard gate of Honeymoon Island State Park, about 6 miles round trip.

 

John spotted a swimming pool for Toby at DG for $8. John couldn't eat his lunch fast enough to get outside and coax Toby into the water.

 He did his best to get Toby to get in, but all Toby wanted to do was drink the water. He probably wondered why John was sitting in his drinking bowl.

 

 

 

No combination of toys would get Toby in the pool.

We spied this hibiscus tree on our early morning walk with Toby.

 

Here's a meal to make my father thankful for his own leftovers: chickpea and potato curry and colonoscopy jello. John asked full of hope: "Is this all of it?" 

We were forced to take a nap after lunch. We couldn't hold our heads up.
