After the storm last night, there was a beautiful sunset. My camera captured only a portion of the orange intensity.
The temperature was in the mid 70s this morning when we headed to the causeway, so we took our bikes to the drawbridge and walked the rest of the way. The high temperature today was 79 degrees.
The breeze was light.
There is evidence of a change in seasons. Trees are dropping their leaves and sending out new ones almost at the same time. The change is rapid compared to North Carolina where the seasons last much longer.
There were lots of kayakers out today headed to Caledesi Island enjoying the perfect weather.
After lunch, we rode our bikes to Publix for a couple of forgotten items. For the last year, we would have done without, but we’re venturing out more now.
John went home after Publix to be with Toby, and I headed to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park.
After the gym, I rode downtown via the Pinellas Trail and cut across to the marina. I see they’ve added the Dunedin flag since last year. I wonder if they read my blog post about the missing city flag?
We call these the copper top condos. They serve as an important landmark because of the way the sun reflects off the roof. You can see them from the Dunedin Causeway 2.5 miles away and from the Clearwater Causeway 3 miles away. Thus, you always know where Main Street Dunedin is because these condos are one block away.
This view is from the marina looking back towards Main Street.
This is the city dock and Bon Appetite restaurant. Main Street runs right to the beginning of the dock.
Here’s another shot of the Victoria Condos where my parents are staying in July.
These tables and grill, separated by a gravel road, belong to the condos.
This is Victoria Drive that parallels the water. It’s a gravel roadway.
There are large homes and condos on one side of the road and water on the other. The trees provide great shade and there’s even a concrete sidewalk to keep from having to walk in the sandy and gravely road. It’s one of my favorite roads in Dunedin.
The Weaver Park pier is a block from the Victoria condos.
Today’s bike route to the causeway, downtown, and the marina. The blue on the edge of the water is Victoria Drive.
Miles walked: 10.5
Miles biked: 16.75

Enjoyed the photos. Thanks for including Victoria
