Tuesday

Another beautiful day with pleasant temperatures. The high was 84 and the low 64. It wasn’t such a great day for sailing as the wind speed was 3 mph. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our causeway walk, even though I felt a bit sluggish. John has boundless energy.

Our bird of paradise is blooming.

John got this shot of a lizard with two tails.

Toby escaped out of a cracked door when John and I were headed for a walk around the neighborhood this evening. He ran to the back yard, so John went one way and I went the other to trap him. We got back there and there’s no Toby. Perplexed, we headed to the front yard. The back and sides of our lot are fenced so we couldn’t figure out where he was or how he got there. After a few seconds, he comes running from our neighbors’ front yard. He had a good romp and showed his stealthy ability to out smart us both.

He was a handful today.

Miles walked: 8.7
Miles biked: 5

  1. Toby certainly keeps you and john on your toes. He continues to entertain us. I haven’t tested our weather today but the sun is brightly shinning. I need to work a little on the patio. A few loose ends.
