Sunday

Happy Mother's Day

We stayed pretty close to the house today. We explored the neighborhood to our east this morning. The blue dotted line shows the furthest point; then we walked the rest of the square and the rectangle within it. It looked to us that the houses were built in the late 80s or early 90s on lots that were larger than ours. East is the only direction we haven't traveled on foot or bike, except going to the dentist and walking in our immediate neighborhood. Once you get to County Road 1, it gets more challenging because of traffic and lack of scenery.

We listened to our audio book some more.

We had Chinese take-out for dinner and tried to conserve our energy.

I went through my filing cabinet and shredded a couple of years of tax forms and threw out other unimportant papers. I was dreading doing that, but it turns out I had gone through it in 2017 before we put our things in storage, a nice surprise.

I eyed the overstuffed closet in the spare bedroom, but shrank from taking on that task. There are easier tasks before me.

Miles walked: 6.7
Miles biked: 0

  1. I believe you have reminded Dad of the library option. I will encourage him. Also the audio option is very interesting. I will go with Dad and make an inquiry on how that would work for us. Thanks. Enjoyed my visit with you and John tonight. Have a good day tomorrow.
