Tuesday

For our causeway walk this morning, we rode our bikes out to Honeymoon Island and walked back across the drawbridge and back to Bath House #1. Then we rode our bike to BH #3 to check out the nourishment project at Oasis Beach.

We left the house around 9:00 with temperatures in the mid 70s with a light breeze.

We made it back to the house about 11:45 with the temperature in the mid 80s with stronger winds, about 11 mph.

We crossed the road at the same time as this turtle, so we took our time crossing with him to make sure he made it safely.

Toby helped me do my stretching exercises this morning.

When Toby was a young puppy, there was no chance of doing any exercises on the floor without starting a ruckus. He thought if you were on the floor, then you should be playing with him. Now he shows patience as he sidles up next to you on the floor.

After our long walk and bike ride, we had lunch and crashed. Toby did the same, even though he was napping at home in his crate while we were walking.

He let John know later that he was ready to play with a sneak attack.

Toby spotted a baby bunny in the back yard. There’s a family of bunnies that lives in our hedges.

Today’s bike route out to Honeymoon Island this morning.

We had burritos and tacos from Juan's Mexican Grill for dinner.

Miles walked: 9.5
Miles biked: 11.73

  1. So glad to hear about your bunnies in the back yard. Hopefully that means “blackie” has found a new home. 🤪
